As part of the Roganidana syllabus, we visited the Kanva Pathology Lab at Nagarabhavi on 30/10/2024. The lab staff elaborately explained the process of collecting blood samples for various investigations. They demonstrated procedures such as stool examination, semen analysis, and urinalysis. Additionally, they showed abnormal cells and microorganisms present in the samples. The staff also explained the various automated machines used to carry out different investigations. Furthermore, they discussed imaging procedures like CT, MRI, X-ray, and USG. The staff displayed CT and MRI films and provided a detailed explanation of their indications and contraindications.
